Totally inspired by the last card in this post and the accompanying link to tutorial of how to dry emboss with a Cuttlebug I decided to try it out on my Big Shot. I guess I have had my head in a hole as I have never seen this technique used before and the results are simple yet stunning.
I played around with the layering a few times to eventually get the desired result, the first three attempts either cut or just embossed the highest edge as a single line.
I ran around the highest ridge with the tip of a pearlescent Brilliance dew drop ink pad. My hand was not entirely steady but the result was better than I was expecting.
Materials:- SU Cardstock; SU Pocket Silhouettes Stamp set; SU ink's Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi and Creamy Caramel; Whispers markers; Brilliance dew drop ink pad; Spellbinders tag trio die and Nesatbilities labels 9.
A quick card, really hit the creative spot for me today. Thanks for stopping by : )
